Terms & Conditions


HIRE DURATION 
The hire period is normally 48 hours. However this can be extended to suit your needs at an additional cost. 

DELIVERY AND COLLECTION 
Betty Loves Vintage offer free delivery and collection within a 20 mile radius of Eastbourne, East Sussex. We are happy to travel further afield at a cost of 0.50p per mile. Our crockery and accessories should be packed the way they were delivered in their original packaging and ready for collection at the agreed time. If packaging is not returned a replacement cost may be charged. A signature is required from the Hirer(s) upon delivery and a delivery note will be provided so that you can check all the items that you have hired. 

CONDITION OF GOODS 
The majority of our treasures are genuinely Vintage, they may show signs of wear on gilding and pattern. This is natural for items of this age and we think it all adds to their charm.

PAYMENT
To secure your order with Betty Loves Vintage, we require a non refundable 50% Booking Fee. This amount will be 50% of the total order. The remaining balance is to be paid 1 month prior to the wedding or event along with the breakage deposit. If payment is not made in accordance with these terms we reserve the right not to supply. To secure a chair cover order we require a non refundable £75 Booking Fee.

BREAKAGE OF ITEMS
The Hirer(s) are responsible for the care and safe keeping of our crockery and accessories. Please make us aware upon collection of any known loss or damage that may have occurred during the hire period. A refundable breakage deposit of £100 is required 1 month prior to the wedding or event. We will notify the Hirer’s of any breakage/damage costs and return the breakage deposit with these deducted within 7 days after the wedding or event.

CANCELLATION
If for any reason you need to cancel your order you must do so in writing. Cancellation may incur charges. 

RESPONSIBILITY
Once signed for the crockery and accessories become the responsibility of the Hirer(s) anything left unattended is at the Hirer(s) own risk and they are responsible for any lost, soiled or damaged items. 

Betty Loves Vintage accepts no responsibility for any damage or injury to property or persons during the hire period. 

Please be aware that when boxed our collection can be quite heavy and may require two people to lift. 

We offer a free washing up service, please ensure that all food and excess liquid is removed from our crockery before packaging for collection.
